The pioneer - Rotary Machine RV 20/8
It is the first of a new machine generation that implements the
increased demands regarding flexibility and operator friendliness:
the RV 20/8 Flexmaster is a CNC-controlled rotary indexing machine for
machining complex parts in a set-up. It controls the
productionperfectly and with high precision.
With this machine, for the first time, the unrivalled cycle times of a
rotary indexing machine are brought to bear on small production
batches. The novel type of dial plate takes on up to eight
exceptionally large chucks, so that workpieces with diameters of up to
25 mm, or up to 50 mm if fed as single parts, can be firmly clamped
and precisely machined. Hardened clamping jaws can be bored directly
on the machine in order to achieve high precision clamping and machining.
The RV 20/8 Flexmaster can take up five machining stations on the left, six on the right, and another three
radially. Arbitrary inner and outer contours can be produced with the freely programmable plunge-cut or
contour rotating unit. The dimensions of the x axis or the z axis are easily adjusted via the CNC control.
With their powerful spindle drive, the newly developed quill units of the third generation, which have an
integrated measuring system, cover a wide steplessly programmable speed range and master all common
metal-cutting tasks. They are available in two sizes, with interfaces for HSK 40 or HSK 50 tool holders. A
user-friendly input mask supports the input of all machining parameters.
